Getting here

Unless you have made prior arrangements, please do not drive to UCL - there is no parking available at UCL, and all on street parking in the Bloomsbury area is very expensive. We are within the congestion charging zone.

The nearest underground stations are Euston Square (4 min walk, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City and Circle Underground lines), Euston (5 mins, Mainline rail services, Northern and Victoria Tube lines), Goodge Street (2 mins, Northern line) and Warren Street (5 mins, Northern and Victoria lines). The nearest mainline stations are Euston (walking distance), and King's Cross St. Pancras (one stop on the Metropolitan and Circle lines).

Further information about using public transport to reach UCL is available here. You can locate UCL buildings using the campus route finder.

Computer Science

The Computer Science Department is now housed in the new Malet Place building behind the Engineering building (opposite Waterstones bookshop in Torrington Place). Enter the College through the Malet Place gate and the building is on the left after Engineering. Enter via the automatic foyer doors and Computer Science is located on floors 4 to 8. The Departmental Office reception area is on the 5th floor (5.25) if you need further directions.

Statistical Science

The UCL Statistical Science Department is located on the first floor of 1-19 Torrington Place. All visitors should enter via the visitors' entrance to the building, which is clearly indicated on the map. Once in the building, go straight through the double doors in front of you, turn left down a corridor along the ground floor, and go up the stairs at the far end to the first floor (or use the lifts). Here there are some more double doors, after which you're in the department. At this point:

  • Turn left for the departmental office, which is then the first door on the right.
  • Turn right for Lecture Room 102.
  • Turn right for the Galton Lecture Theatre (Room 115). This is located beyond room 102, through yet another set of double doors. Room 115 is where the department's research seminars are held.

Gatsby Unit

The Gatsby Unit is located on the fourth and fifth floors of Alexandra House, 17 Queen Square, WC1N 3AR.
