UCL Agent-based Modelling Reading Group

This is a reading group devoted to agent-based modelling (ABM) and its applications. The group meets weekly and each week someone presents a paper/book chapter/topic of interest to them. Suitable topics include: advantages and limitations of agent-based modelling, building agent-based models (theoretical considerations, techniques, toolkits), applications of agent-based modelling in different problem domains. The main focus of the group is placed on theoretical aspects of agent-based modelling and on the links between agent-based modelling and statistics/machine learning. The group is very informal. All staff, students, research fellows etc. are welcome to join us.

If you’d like to receive email announcements about upcoming meetings, please subscribe to our Abm-reading@ucl.ac.uk mailing list, by sending an email with subject “subscribe” to abm-reading-request@ucl.ac.uk.

The group is run in collaboration with the UCL ABM Working Group: Information hub for agent-based modelling at UCL and beyond (http://ucl-abm.org.uk/)

Usual time: Thursday, 14:00 - 15:30
Location (unless otherwise noted): Malet Place Engineering, Room 6.12
