Machine Learning applied to Neuroimaging Reading Group

This is an informal group considering applications of machine learning approaches to analyze neuroimaging data (e.g. fMRI, structural MRI, MEG, EEG, etc). Recently pattern recognition approaches have been used to classify patterns of neural activity elicited by sensory or cognitive processes, i.e., as "mind-reading" devices that can predict an individual's brain state. In the clinical context these approaches have been also applied to classify groups of individuals based on brain structural MRI or functional MRI data. This group will discuss recent papers published in this area and papers describing methods with potential applications to neuroimaging.

Usual time: Wednesday, 16:00 - 17:00
