Description

Bio: Adji Bousso Dieng is a Senegalese computer scientist and statistician working in the field of Artificial Intelligence. She received her PhD from Columbia University where she was advised by David Blei and John Paisley. Her work bridges probabilistic graphical modeling and deep learning and has received many recognitions, including a Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning and a Rising Star in Machine Learning nomination by the University of Maryland. Dieng is currently a research scientist at Google AI and an incoming tenure-track assistant professor of computer science at Princeton University. She is the founder of the non-profit organization The Africa I Know.
